Medilag's got talent 1.0 Grand finale

Medilag's got talent 1.0 is the first of it's kind in Medilag ,an event that gives all medical students an opportunity to showcase their God-given talents.
On top the matter,Medilag Essence would be giving a review of everything that happened at the event  gan gan...

The event was in fusion with the award night of the Provost cup tournament and also The MMM'17 royal fashion
show.
Unlike every other Medilag event, this started early as promised but the unavailability of audience was a setback to the procession of the event.   The event started officially at about 8pm with an opening remark from our able COMPSSA social sec, Andre.
The judges presiding were some of our own finest: George, Clemency green, Brammy and of course, Fola Davids.

The talent show started off with performances from contestants on probation where three contestants were chosen to join the other finalists.
Then there was a move from the talent show to the royal fashion show where contestants from the just concluded MMM 2017 showcased lovely fashion pieces by our very own Martins of Martini wears.
Along the line in the events was the awarding of medals to participants and winners in the different categories of The Provost cup tournament.

There was MBBS as the overall Champions of the tournament.

Moving on,  there was a variety of wonderful performances after which 5 finalist were chosen.
There was Tosin (the saxophone player), Temi (with the golden vocal cords), Larry and (the awesome dancers) and finally our own 'Fela' (the remarkable painter).
There was showcasing of various other fashion lines like SH wears (Balogun Mahmuod), Emperor soles (Ajebo) and Eki classic ties by some of Medilag brightest fashion entrepreneurs

The Judges finally announced the winners of the first ever Medilag's got talent show.
Larry came in as second runner-up with a cash prize of ten thousand naira. Temi was first runner-up with the cash prize of twenty thousand naira and an additional cash prize from the judges as an appreciation for a more than average performance.

Ultimately, there was Olajide Francis (Fela), the champion of the day with the cash prize of 30 thousand naira.
