First of, would like to say I'm highly honored that I've been given the opportunity to talk about my experience. It was fun all the way, the rehearsals, contestants and instructors all made the road to the finale one for the history books. After the pageant, I went
on to Mr university africa where I became the Mr university africa ambassador (2nd runner up). Days after these pageants have basically been filled with work. I believe they've affected me positively, making me more aware of those living with breast cancer and victims of domestic violence. It has taught me to appreciate help from people no matter the size because you can't get far if you're going alone. I guess it has made me more appreciative of people and events in life
Miss Medilag 2017
Hi. I'm Faidat. I'm a proud Muslim. Plantain is the love of my life. I laugh way too much but I guess that's what makes me unique.
I don't know what to say. Alright I'm just going to talk about myself in general.
Being Miss Medilag, I've met and talked to a lot of people.

Oh yeah, I get asked a lot of questions, most times I don't even know how to answer or what to say.
And now, I would answer five of the most frequently asked questions.
1. Are you single? And why?
Not to brag but I get this all the time and most times I just reply with a "lol" or an emoji.
The truth is that I don't see a need to be in a relationship ended our maybe I've not found someone I really like enough to date... Lol, I don't know.
Relationships to me are a big deal. I wouldn't go into something for bants. I mean that's double trash.
But then I love to be pampered. And I love Love.
I love seeing them relationship goals on ig but I don't really like PDA.

Don't get me wrong but I want baby boy to be proud to have me but I don't want everyone all up in my business.
May the Lord provide a suitable baby boy for me.
2. Do you ever get angry?
I do but hardly. Even when I'm upset, I smile. I just dislike frowning and low-key I always think there's someone taking pictures of me and I don't want them to come out bad. Lol, I know it's twisted.

3. Are you Fulani?
Oh I wish I were. But I'm also proud to be Yoruba. My nose ring even helps matters.
4. Why are you always with an hand-fan ?

At first it was the weather. When it used to be so freaking hot. But now it's just part of me. It's always in my bag. I mean I carried a hand-fan to the beach.
5. Why do you always catwalk?
To be honest, it's not a conscious effort. The root of it is a very vain reason.
I wanted to be my aunt's little bride's maid and she had different girls to choose from. She said she was going to pick the most groomed girl. That meant the one who could catwalk, speak well and all that.
That was years ago. Now I've gotten used to it and I still didn't get to be the little brides maid because I was a little too grown😒.
And there you have it. Mr and Miss Medilag 2017 have spoken.
This is nice
